One thing that makes me excited for summer to end is knowing that London Fashion Week is on the horizon. For the past few years me and Annie  plan a weekend of fun from events to shows and shooting outfits – our idea of fun anyway! To be honest, this season I only went for one day but we packed in as much as we could. This September we went to The Blogger Programme Hangout in partnership with Topshop which was really cool, it definitely gets better each year with bigger and more well known brands. We then need to get those all important outfit shots so we met Sarah at the Strand ready to get those Insta worthy pics.

My Fashion Week Outfit

As usual I opted for minimal and monochrome with some of this seasons biggest trends – snake print and corduroy. I believe if you pick items carefully from the high street you can definitely make them look more expensive. This Gucci esque snake print bag is a steal from Topshop for only £32! It’s basically my bag for autumn sorted. This skirt I picked up in Zara whilst in Spain for around £25. I love the tortoise shell detailing on the belt and there is so much cord on the high street at the minute. I couldn’t resist. The blazer and top were items I already had. I always try to re work items in my wardrobe to feel new each time I wear them. My sock boots are also from Topshop, again another bargain at only £38. I always struggle finding boots that fit around my ankles as they’re usually too big but these are perfect, they also come in white!
