Exploring Amsterdam With Bloom On

Amsterdam has always been one of those places on my bucket list, so I was over the moon when I was invited to Bloomon Flower Festival Press Trip. To add to this I am definitely one of those people who buys themselves flowers every week. There’s just something about fresh flowers in the home which I love!

Day 1 in Amsterdam with Bloomon

So after getting up at 3.30am I made it to Amsterdam at 9.30! The flight was only 55 minutes which was amazing and was greeted by the lovely Bloomon team. We went straight to the hotel and to get ready to explore what the city had to offer. The buildings were so beautiful and the atmosphere was unlike any other city I have visited. The first day we spent eating the most delicious brunch at Dignita which was a 5 minute walk from our hotel- Zoku Amsterdam. This hotel was amazing with beautiful decor and modern workspaces (and super cute for Insta pics of course) We then spent the rest of the day exploring Amsterdam via bikes, something I haven’t done for a while apart from spin classes. We got to see lots of different sights including the IAmsterdam sign which was super busy but worth seeing and then made our way back to the hotel for the Flower Festival on the evening.

The Bloomon flower festival was so fun! With flower garland making, hand massages, nail art and the most amazing flower wall I have ever seen all on the rooftop overlooking the city, what more could you want?! Having been up since 3.30am it got to 11pm and I was so ready to relax in the beautiful apartment at Zoku Hotel.

Day 2 at the Flower Fields

Every instagrammer’s dream right? Fields full of flowers! Day 2 and we headed to see where Bloomon get their flowers from, including a lily farm with over 1.5 million lilies in! Seeing where the flowers are grown was so interesting. As they’re directly hand picked from the growers it shows how fresh the flowers are as they are delivered straight to your door from Holland. With over 100 photo’s, maybe more, taken in the fields of flowers we headed back to the airport  and our time in Amsterdam had come to an end.

How Bloomon Works

Like the sound of how fresh these flowers are from Bloomon? Carry on reading to see how you can get your very own fresh bouquets delivered straight to your door. The flowers are chosen in theme of the season, so the bouquets constantly change. Head to Bloomon website and first of all choose which size you would like. Then choose how often you would like them, weekly, fortnightly or monthly. Flowers will arrive fresh at your door. Simple!
