It seems in the blogging world these days that everyone owns either a designer handbag or designer shoes, and that’s great if you can afford it. But if you’re like me, you have a house to pay for, a car to pay for, want new clothes every week and spend most of your wages on cute home accessories to make your house look Pinterest worthy, holidays and everything else in between, there’s not much left after to then go and splurge on designer pieces! I also cannot justify the prices of designer products when it will probably be out of fashion by next season and you can find extremely similar pieces on the high street. If you know me, you know I love a good bargain keeping up with trends for less is something which I will always try and do.

The Designer Dupe Handbag

Can we all just take a moment, this is not a real JW Anderson bag, I repeat, this is not the real deal. As much as I would love a real JW Anderson bag, my £17 amazing find from She In is doing the job perfectly. Sometimes it’s about finding an item which looks similar to still give you that same look and feel to an outfit. I did change the strap on the bag to a black leather one from another bag as the chain strap it comes with a. wasn’t very comfy and b. didn’t look as good.

The Designer Dupe Belt

This little belt has been another one of my favourite finds on the high street. The Gucci belt is EVERYWHERE at the moment, yes it’s super cute but the price isn’t at a hefty £240!! I came across this belt in H&M and immediately fell in love. It gives the illusion of the small Gucci belt and was only £4! It doesn’t seem to be online however it should still be available in store, what are you waiting for?!

I love that belt – what a bargain! I would be happy to buy a designer handbag and accessories but I don’t think I could justify some of the higher end clothes when there’s such great choice on the high street x

Love this post so much and how you’ve put together a really high end look for a fraction of the budget! I wish more bloggers would use dupes or at least link to them as alternatives as it just makes posts and outfits so much more relatable! I get that it’s for the whole aspirational purpose but it’s so much more helpful to show some dupes as well! Also, loveeeee your hair!

      Hey Millie!

Thanks so much for your comment! I’m glad you liked the styling in the post. Yeah I definitely agree, it makes it a lot more relatable for my audience especially as designer products can be so expensive!
