I’ve teamed up with the amazing team at Vila to give you 3 Valentines Day outfits for their new collection with Lipsy. I thought it would be useful to give you 3 outfits which you could wear for 3 different kinds of ‘Valentines Day Dates.’ We all want to make that amazing first impression count when we first meet someone and looking your best is always no.1 priority. VILA have such a great range of the season’s hottest prints & also still keep to that feminine feel, what could be more perfect than feeling extra girly on your first date?!
1. Daytime Date– The practical outfit. Valentines Day is on Sunday this year so some people may opt for a daytime date, whether it be a date to the cinema or even afternoon tea this lace t-shirt is the perfect option to dress up a pair of rolled up hem jeans. Lace is all the rage at the moment and I will definitely not be over this look anytime soon! Not to mention the heeled ballerinas from ASOS, which I am totally in love with. I love how they can still keep an outfit casual but give it that dressy look too. You will be seeing these shoes featured a whole lot more very soon.
2. Afternoon to Evening Date – The go-to shirt dress. A shirt dress is a great way to take your outfit from daytime casual to evening chic. I love this bold stripe dress and the versatility it has. On its own it can be quite the eye catcher but pair it with and oversize coat and high ankle boots it will take you from day to night perfectly.
3. Night-time Date – The sophisticated wrap blouse. This wrap blouse is a great option for an evening date, if you’re going out for a few cocktails or a sit down meal. You don’t want to be going on your first date looking like your going on a night out with your friends. This makes the perfect ‘im cute but sophisticated’ kind of look. I’ve decided to wear this with a pair of paper-bag high waisted trousers & some mules to keep the outfit looking smart but chic.
